Two From Galilee

I must be crazy!  Right now I am.... photographing holiday family portraits, meeting with brides for spring weddings, moving into a new house, and rehearsing for a musical that I'm dancing in.  If you are available this weekend or looking for some Christmas entertainment my church is putting on a wonderful Christmas musical called Two from Galilee.  It is very professionally put together.  The show times are Dec 12 at 7:00, Dec 13 at 7:00, and Dec 14 at 3:00.  I believe tickets are only $5 and the show (and pre-show) are fabulous!  For information and go to: www.east91st.org.  I am a dancing angel so my role is pretty simple, no singing here (just some lip syncing at the end).  I've been doing ballet with a dance company for several years (I've danced for as long as I can remember) and it has been such a treat to participate in the musical.  I have yet to see Gabriel's costume, but he has been telling us that his wing span is supposed to be 8ft.  I'm quite interested to see this costume! 

 

The Flanagan's

Kirk and Jamie have a delightful family!  I recently photographed Kirk's twin brother so it felt a little like deja vu.  Olivia and Owen were in adorable little Christmas outfits.  We had fun looking that the train, reading The Polar Express, and romping around with mom and dad.  Toddlers are full of energy, Owen even had me "chase" him around the room.  How fun!!!!  Jamie had the idea to do part of the shoot in their holiday pajamas, it was great!  I may steal the idea for my own family.  Have a wonderful Christmas!   

Kiara's Birthday Party

A few weeks after photographing Rhiannon's birthday party I was able to photograph her older sister's party as well.  Kiara just turned 7 and she chose to have a Cleopatra birthday party.  All of Kiara's friends got Egyptian eye paint and a really cool head dress to wear.  Snakehead Ed attended the party and taught the Egyptian ladies about exotic snakes.  The girls were squealing and laughing.  To spare the faint at heart I am only posting one of the snake photos, it was a very creative birthday party!  Thank you for inviting me to photograph your special day!   

Rhiannon's Birthday Party

Things have been quite busy here with birthday parties and holiday family portraits!  In November Rhiannon had her 5th birthday party at Sugar Buzz in Carmel.  This was my first shoot at Sugar Buzz, this place is a child's dream come true!  The decor is like walking into a fantasy land.  Kids get to select the theme for their birthday party.  Rhiannon had a Hannah Montana party complete with choreographers that taught the girls a dance routine, professional make up artists that gave them stage make up as well as fun face paintings, and themed birthday treats.  I had so much fun, the girls were full of giggles the entire time!  Happy Birthday Rhiannon!
